Join us for the second Open Mic Night of the semester and share your talents on the cozy stage in the MSC Terrace.
Sign-up begins at 7:00 pm with the actual show starting at 8. If performing isn't for you, come support your peers while enjoying some free entertainment. Any and all talents or oddities are welcome! We will go until we run out of acts or until 10:00 pm, whichever comes first!
When signing up to perform, know that it is first come, first serve. Come early to sign up.
Are you fast enough to keep up with this speedy game of bingo? Join us in the Terrace for some fast-paced bingo rounds. **RSVP does not guarantee materials. If you have any accommodations, please email us at involvement@uwstout.edu.
This session we're using the Lost Foam Method!
We'll have premade patterns and tools to cut your own!
Spots limited; register in Connect to reserve your spot!
In Lost Foam casting, you bury your EPS foam pattern (coffee cup material) in a specialized type of sand with a sprue sticking out on top. We pour molten metal over top and the pattern vaporizes on contact, leaving the metal to take the shape left behind!
In honor of Build-A-LAN being by the people, for the people, we will be hosting a craft night to allow you, the attendees of LAN, to make your own decorations that will be used to decorate the Great Hall and Ballrooms during LAN! We will also have some consoles & party games open for anyone to spend some time playing games as a part of our newly revived bi-weekly game nights!
Join us for a celebration of Holi: the Festival of Colors on Wednesday, March 27! All are welcome and encouraged to participate!
This event opens in Harvey Hall 141 with a short presentation about Holi from UW-Stout students from 4:00-4:30pm. Traditional sweets will also be served.
A celebration of color will follow the presentation at 5:00pm on the MSC Clock Tower Plaza. During the color celebration attendees should expect to be covered in powdered Holi colors (if you are not familiar with Holi, the colors are those used in color runs). Attendees are strongly advised to wear clothing that can be ruined as the color may not wash out.
Learn about UW-Stout's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP): whether you want to find funding to do a research or an artistic project, to publish or present, or to get through the IRB process, ORSP is here to help. Stop by our info table in MSC 1st floor 11:00-1:00 on March 27. We look forward to chatting! Caramel popcorn will be provided!

Did you know that you can get FREE professional and casual clothing on campus? Yes, you read that right: FREE CLOTHES. So, if the end of the semester's got your budget feeling tight, keep reading.
The Helping Hand Food+ Pantry provides more than just quick and easy meals and snacks (although that's pretty awesome, right?). Located in the basement of the Admin Building, this space offers Stout students hygiene products, school supplies, some house goods (like cups, water bottles, blankets), winter gear, and clothes.
Looking great can give you that extra boost of confidence that you need in your interview, but sometimes it can be expensive. That's why one of our favorite parts of the pantry is the professional clothing, which can help you shine. There's a variety of gently used and new items to pick from, including dress pants, button-down shirts, blazers, suit coats, skirts, dresses, belts, ties, and dress shoes.
One of the nice things about the pantry is that it’s tucked away in a quiet corner of campus, so you can browse in peace. It's a great place to visit if you just need a little extra boost to finish out the semester and look great while you're at it. Stop by when you have time. No appointment needed.
