What would you like to see in a Senior Diversity Officer?

Friday, October 28th | 12:55pm - 1:55pm
Location: Ballroom B, MSC

This Spring, UW-Stout will recruit to hire a senior diversity officer. This will be a position that reports directly to the chancellor and oversees the brand new equity, diversity and inclusion unit. All students are invited to join Student Fellow of EDI, Anri Bien-Aime, and Inclusive Excellence Action Plan Coordinator, Rickie-Ann Legleitner, for a discussion about what a senior diversity officer is, and what you are looking for from the person in this position at Stout.

If you cannot attend one of the feedback sessions, that’s ok, we have surveys for each of the areas we are seeking feedback on available for you to complete:    The survey completion deadline is Monday, November 1st. Please email us any questions!

How to Have Good Hygiene

  1. Wash your bedding regularly - when washing your sheets use the hottest water possible, and aim for every other week.
  2. Wash your hands often - washing your hands keeps you healthy and prevents the spread of illness. Wash before and after contact with contaminated surfaces, food, or interaction with others.
  3. Brush and floss your teeth - remember to brush twice a day for two minutes to decrease the amount of bacteria in your mouth!
  4. Sleep - Get 8 - 10 hours of sleep per night so you are refreshed and also keep up your body’s natural defense, your immune system
  5. Trim your nails - finger and toenails that are trimmed and in good shape can prevent hangnails and/or infected nail beds
