Counseling Center Services

The Counseling Center is offering all services for UW-Stout students in Wisconsin through telehealth, including individual, couples, group counseling, crisis appointments, consultation, and outreach presentations. Students outside of Wisconsin can call the Counseling Center for assistance with finding mental health care. All students are able to use SilverCloud, a self-help app to assist with anxiety, stress, depression, sleep and resilience. More information can be found on the Counseling Center's webpage.

UW-Stout COVID Update

Q. I am not receiving prompt responses from my instructor since we’ve pivoted to online instruction. What are my options?

A. Please connect with your instructor during scheduled virtual office hours and make sure to review the course syllabi that states response time on communications. If you don’t have success, please don’t hesitate to contact provost@uwstout.edu, and we will make sure to connect you with the respective department chair.

 

Q. How do I return my textbooks and/or laptop if I’m not coming back after Thanksgiving?

A. Textbooks and Library Returns:

Textbooks and library items may be returned to campus by January 29, 2021, via the library book drop or mailed. If you have any questions regarding the return process, please contact 715-232-2492 or textbooks@uwstout.edu

Laptop Returns:

Students not planning on returning next term will need to return their laptop and accessories to the Technology Help Desk, 109 Sorensen Hall, on or before December 22, 2020.

Students not in the surrounding area may opt to mail their laptop and accessories. The deadline for the return of equipment back to UW-Stout is January 4, 2021. If you have any questions regarding the return process, please email estout@uwstout.edu.
