Create encouraging cards with inspiring messages and artwork to share with anyone in your path that may need their spirits lifted. A relaxing and rewarding way to give back to fellow classmates, family, friends, or people in need!
Drop by for some friendly competition and conversation. Race against one of our SCC counselors, de-stress with some nostalgic fun, and learn about mental health resources available to you or ask a question you have. Whether you're a seasoned racer or just here to have fun, it's a great chance to connect, unwind, and talk about mental health.
We encourage you to prioritize your wellbeing and come make a self-care kit to take with you. There will be lots of goodies to choose from and a therapy dog you can interact with!
Pepper Magazine is a student-led organization that publishes A REAL LIVE PHYSICAL MAGAZINE every semester. We print our magazines right on campus. As a team, we decide the overall theme and design for the magazine, meaning each one is different from the last. Some of our previous themes include: Death, Intimacy, Vitality, Absence, Nostalgia, Space, and many more. You can create anything you want as long as it fits with the theme. We've seen photography, poetry, illustrations, collages, and writing. What will you contribute to Pepper Magazine? We encourage all majors to join.
Come celebrate World Mental Health Day and Belonging Week at our tabling event. This event focuses on community care and mutual support. You can choose uplifting, encouraging messages to take with you and also write one to leave for another student. Come take a moment to connect, reflect, and support one another, one message at a time.
