Blue Devil Productions is proud to present The Bathtub Marys, on Thursday September 24th, at 7:00 pm in the South Lawn on the UW-Stout Campus. If weather occurs the event will be virtual.
The Bathtub Marys are a punk rock band from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Hard-driving distortion coupled with surf punk, blues, and grunge vibes offers a sound both original and painfully familiar. With bitingly clever lyrics condemning the corrupt institutions of religion, government, and capitalism, while addressing issues around mental health, addiction, and non-conformity, the traditional punk ethos receives its just desserts. The Bathtub Marys recorded their first full-length studio album, Racketeering Scheme, over the course of several months and self-released it in April 2020. They continue to record and perform.
