The Involvement center is taking you on a trip to see the MN Timberwolves vs. The Sacramento Kings. This trip costs students $40 and $45 for non-students (or staff and faculty) and includes transportation to and from the game and a post game experience to shoot free throws on the court after the game. After you RSVP on CONNECT you will be taken to the Stout Shop to purchase your tickets. We load the bus promptly at 4:00pm for a game start at 7pm in the Target Center. Tickets are limited and only ticket holders will be able to attend the game - AGAIN YOU MUST FOLLOW THE STEPS TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKET!
Join us for Free Speech Week! The Menard Center for the Study of Institutions & Innovation will host Ari Cohn to discuss the history and legality of campus free speech zones. (Ari Cohn is lead counsel on tech policy for the Foundation for Individual Rights & Expression.) After Ari Cohn's presentation, questions will be raised by three student panelists: Allie Hayes, Morris Justice, and Cesar Moreno Flores. An audience Q&A will follow, moderated by Dr. Afton Greco, Director of the Menard Center. The event will conclude with a Kahoot contest with prizes for students.

Student commencement speakers represent their class and share their journey as proud UW-Stout graduates. They have a great story to share and also can speak to a large audience. Consider sharing the graduate commencement speaker application with select graduating students. The application is due Sunday, November 16.

CHEM 110 - Chemistry in our World, is a 4-credit natural science course with lab. It is offered completely online this winterm. CHEM 110 focuses on the role of chemistry in our lives, it covers contemporary issues while introducing chemical concepts. Topics covered include portable electronics, radiation, climate change, water pollution, alternative energy sources, polymers, and plastics. The course is asynchronous and self-paced.
