Blue Devil Productions is proud to present Ahmed Al-Kardi on our campus for a free comedy show!
Ahmed Al-kadri is a Yemeni-American comedian based in LA. As a young child in Dallas, Ahmed dreamed of being an accountant, but his immigrant parents forced him to be a comedian instead. Over the last year, Ahmed has gained a large following on TikTok and Instagram, thanks to crowd-favorite sketches like "Roommates with Anxiety," "Arab at an Indian Wedding" and the "Arab Roommate" series, which compliments long-time friend Ryan Kelly's series, "When You Have A Midwest Roommate."
Join us in creating Perler Bead designs to donate to Our House Senior Living Memory Care in Menomonie, WI. We will also be sharing about the perks of joining Service Club. Bring your friends! We can't wait to see you there.

“A routine is not a prison, it’s a pathway to freedom.” Unknown
After time off from school, it can be difficult to get into the swing of things again. We’ve had time to relax, time to connect with friends, and even time to work and do other important activities. But finding our way back into our educational flow can be challenging for all of us. Routine is one of the best ways we can help to remedy that difficulty, as it can help create structure in our day-to-day life and can help reduce stress and anxiety. Here are some tips that will help you get into a routine:
Set an alarm and stick to it – these are great reminders to help get something started, or to transition from task to task. When you set your alarm to wake up, try getting out of bed before hitting snooze.
Do things at the same time each day – first start by trying to eat your meals at the same time each day. Sometimes schedules can be difficult to align; try eating a snack at that time instead of a whole meal. Flexibility can be ok!
Give yourself a pep talk – by telling yourself, “I want to do this,” or “this will help me,” you will help increase motivation to stick to your routine.
Set small goals – break down large goals into smaller ones. This will help you feel more successful as routine becomes more set.
Reward yourself! If your goal was to wake up each day by 8am, reward yourself by going out to breakfast with a friend on a weekend.
