Have you ever wondered what you can do with your major or what it would be like to work in a certain career field?
It can be intimidating to jump both feet into a job without knowing what it will be like. That's where informational interviewing and job shadowing come in!
Informational interviewing is a way to have a focused conversation with a professional in your desired industry to gain insight into what they do. It also helps you build a professional network. Having a job shadow experience with an employer that interests you is the perfect place to ask questions and experience a "day in the life of _____."
Read more on the process in our Career Success Guide, and consider signing up for a Winter Break Job Shadow Experience.
