Interviewing 101 – Become a more confident and prepared interviewer.
Attend this presentation to learn the basics of effective interviewing. Very few people get excited to interview, but with the right preparation and practice, you can not only increase your confidence, but your chances of getting that dream job or internship. Every attendee will be provided with a padfolio, compliments of Career Services.
The UW-Stout Writing Center offers free support to UW-Stout students with projects like papers, reports, resumes, and personal statements. The UW-Stout Writing Center offers three service options: In-Person Consultations in 174 Harvey Hall, E-Tutoring Consultations on Microsoft Teams, and Email Consultations. Research Day registration is open now through Feb. 28
Registration is open for Research Day (May 3). Research Day celebrates the outstanding research and scholarly/artistic work of students, faculty, and staff through posters, oral presentations, visual art displays, and more. Students may present individually or as a group. Register through a simple survey (see link), which asks for name/email of your Faculty Research Advisor/Instructor, Presentation Type, Presentation Title, and Abstract.

Looking for Students to Serve on Award Selection Committees
The Involvement Center and the SSA are seeking students, faculty, and staff to serve on two separate award selection committees. One committee will review all nominees and select winners for the six leadership awards. The second committee will review all applicants for the Samuel E. Wood Medallion Award. Both committees will review all nominations on their own time and then join together for one combined meeting to make selections. If interested in serving, please contact Krista Proksch.

For Diversity Week 2022, The Qube is hosting Queer Magic: LGBTQIA+ Religion and Spirituality Panel. For this panel, we are looking for panelists who are LGBTQIA+ and represent a variety of faiths to share their experience being Queer and Religious/Spiritual. Stout University Foundation scholarship application for the 2022-2023 academic year is available online. There are more than 400 scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. Both the application and one letter of recommendation must be submitted online by 11:59 PM on Monday, Feb.7, 2022.
