What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word "recruitment" as it relates to your student org? Likely it's a table in the MSC, an info session with free pizza or participating in an org fair. Those events are part of the process, but not the most important part.
This workshop was created to help you, as org leaders, look at recruitment through fresh eyes. Join us to learn valuable principles to attract, select and secure the right members for your organization.

Blue Devil Productions is excited to welcome Emily Kastrul of Sister Species to campus on Thursday, April 8 in the Great Hall, MSC!
As an accordionist and songwriter, Emily Kastrul (Betazoid, Hazel Ra) has led chamber-pop septet Sister Species since 2011: a band known for their thoughtful, dynamic arrangements and opulent three-part trumpet harmonies. Kastrul’s intimate and intricate songwriting spans from bleak pop anthems about the inevitable heat death of the universe to drone songs about loss and cottonwood trees.
Performing solo, Kastrul will share stripped-down versions of songs from Sister Species' two most
recent records. In addition, she will share new, unreleased works and experimental improved soundscapes.
We're excited to welcome Spencer Douglas back to campus as our opener!
From a naïve 14-year-old eager to become a musician, Spencer has evolved into a moderately experienced 17-year-old musician, still eager to learn and striving for continued musical growth. “Princess Charming,” the debut EP of Spencer Douglas, is the first chapter in a young singer-songwriter's journey to share his personal voice. Taking influences from multiple styles, each song is an exploration and interpretation of relationships and personal reflections. The EP features a range of reflective lyrics, upbeat instrumentation and catchy melodies composed, arranged and recorded by the teen when he was 15. He plans to continue his musical journey and have some fun along the way.
Blue Devil Productions is proud to present Moe Yaqub, on Friday, April 9th, at 8:00 PM CST in the MSC Great Hall as well as streaming live.

Growing up in Pakistan, he spent many childhood years acting on television. After moving to America, Moe wanted to make the transition back into TV and that venture led him to stand-up comedy. Moe has been a finalist in Acme’s Funniest Person Contest, Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy Funniest Person with a Day Job Contest, and Sisyphus Brewing’s Funniest Person in Minnesota Contest. He is also one of the producers of Minnesota’s 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival.
This event is sponsored by Blue Devil Productions and is FREE to all. This event is a part of Blue Devil Productions comedy series. Please call (715) 232-2432 or go to bdp.uwstout.edu for more information. For special accommodations at any of our events please email.
