Terrace, MSC

Come on out for our third Open Mic of the Fall 2021 semester! Join your fellow students as they find the courage to clamber up on stage and show off their talented selves. Any and all acts are welcome, from belting out your favorite Broadway tune, tightening up a stand-up set, to just flipping a water bottle. There are only two caveats that you need to know: The show will be rated R and may contain content and verbiage that folks may find offensive, and while most content will be allowed there will be zero tolerance for any hate speech. Sign-ups will begin at 7:00PM and end at 8:00PM when the show proper will begin. We will run until 10:00PM or the prodigious talent pool is depleted. Hope to see y'all there.

Mental Health Tip

Get Better Sleep!

  1. Have a routine - go to sleep at the same time every night and try to get up at the same time every morning (even on the weekends!)
  2. Avoid big meals and don’t drink alcohol or caffeine late in the day
  3. Don’t take naps longer than 20 minutes throughout the day
  4. Make your bedroom comfortable, dark, quiet, and a good temperature
  5. Turn off TV and phone / other screens at least 1 hour before bed
  6. Don’t lie in bed awake. If you can’t fall asleep after 20 minutes, get up and do a quiet activity, such as reading or listening to music, until you feel tired
