Eli Gardiner our headliner is a singer, songwriter, and guitar player from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan but now based in Minneapolis. His songs speak to the issues of the present day, ranging from American roots based rock n roll to acoustic folk.
Our opening band Adrian and Meredith Band have always marched to the beat of their own drum, unapologetic in the art they create. Since joining forces in 2015, they have put their own spin on Americana music, embodying the spirit of the human story through influences of punk, folk, polka, and swing.

UW-Stout is looking for faculty, staff, and students to volunteer for United Ways Day of Caring on Thursday, October 10. Interested volunteers should email Becki Marlett by October 3. Faculty and staff do not have to take leave to participate; however, supervisor approval is needed. Sign up by October 3 to be registered by the Chancellor's office as a member of the Stout volunteer team. Contact the Chancellor's Office with questions.
If you have a copy of the printed UW-Stout calendar given to first-year students and supporters at FYRO last summer, there is a misprint about the fall tuition due date. Fall tuition is due on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Please contact Student Business Services with any questions.
Strive for Five, a sustainable commute campaign, is open
Walk, bike, or commute to campus using a nongreenhouse gas method at least five times a month to be eligible for a Strive for Five drawing for $10 in Chamber bucks. Every additional five carbon-free commute days reported will earn participants an additional entry. The drawing will close for September on Thursday, Oct. 10. Late entries will not be counted. Participants must live off campus to be eligible. Winners will be notified via email.
