First-Generation College Celebration: Lifelong Growth
Monday, November 8th | 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Location: Ballrooms, MSC
UW-Stout annually celebrates the success of first-generation students, staff, and faculty. This year’s celebration will happen on Monday, November 8th.
UW-Stout has a growing first-gen student body, with 33% of students identifying as first-gen in the 2020-21 academic year. Being a first-gen college student means neither of your parents/legal guardians/caretakers received a four-year degree from a four-year college. This year's theme is "lifelong growth." Join us for a keynote speaker, staff and faculty meet and greet, career readiness conversation, and a first-gen panel.
