We are a small team of neurodiverse students and allies at UW-Stout interested in establishing a campus club that celebrates and supports neurodiversity. We have created a survey to gauge student interest in this type of club and see what types of activities students are interested in. In general, we are planning to offer social spaces, learning events, and advocacy opportunities oriented toward neurodiversity topics. We are hoping to launch the club in spring 2023. ALL students are invited to join, including students who identify as neurodiverse, friends of neurodiverse people, and anyone interested in learning about neurodiversity.
Neurodiverse Club interest survey.
Survey will be open through Wednesday, November 19, 2022.

Student Health Services Unveils New Mural in their SAD Room!
Student artist, Emily Holze, designed and painted this mural at Student Health Services. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that's related to changes in seasons, SAD begins and ends at about the same times every year. Symptoms start in the fall and continue into the winter months, sapping your energy and making you feel moody. These symptoms often resolve during the spring and summer months. One treatment for this form of depression is light therapy! Students can schedule the 20 minute light therapy session where they can relax, do homework or lounge on a love seat while sitting in a beach themed room. Appointments can be made by calling Student Health Services at 7152321314. There is no charge for this service.
Student Health is grateful to Emily for sharing her talent with the Stout community!
