Mental Health First Aid Training

Saturday, April 1, 2023 | 8am-4:30pm

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. The 8-hour training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to help adults who are experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.    
Participants must attend the full day. Prior to the training, participants will receive instructions regarding setting up an account and completing a pre-survey that will take less than 10 minutes.

Quick Pitch competition registration closes April 7

WiSys Quick Pitch is a cash-prize competition open to all majors, undergraduate and graduate students. This research-focused 3-minute pitch competition, which takes place on Research Day (May 2), offers training and experience to learn how to effectively communicate research to a general audience.
