Welcome back to spring semester! Below is information to keep you in The LOOP!

2019-20 Annual Budget Requests Due Jan 30th at Noon

In order to successfully apply for funding each org must complete the following three steps:

  1. Apply for a budget in CONNECT by January 30th at Noon
  2. Sign up for a budget hearing on SSA’s page in CONNECT by January 30th at Noon
  3. Have at least one member of your group present your budget to the FAC at the hearing time you chose

We’ve chosen 3 weekends this semester to host some amazing programs called The Weekend Ticket.

There is still room to add more events and we’re looking to you for the March dates.  If your org would like to host a program that is open to the entire campus community and held in the MSC during the March weekend, we can offer you:

  1. Free Advertising
  2. Snacks and refreshments for your event
  3. Possible funding of event supplies (up to $200) 

If you are interested in hosting an event in March, please email involvement@uwstout.edu by February 8th.

 Now Accepting Nominations for the Leadership Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the annual Leadership Awards. These awards are for individuals and student orgs campus-wide who have been inspiring leaders. There are six (6) awards total, many of which are geared toward student organizations.  Individuals and organizations may choose to self-nominate for these awards or nominate others.

Student Employee of the Year
Outstanding Student Leader of the Year
Student Organization of the Year
The Bill Siedlecki Org Advisor of the Year
Student Organization Event of the Year – Each category is awarded $200 for their org!
