This event is for anyone or homecoming team who wants to get creative with chalk. You can pick up your chalk from the Involvement Center Desk. You can chalk on October 23rd from 10 am - 5 pm. If it rains, the competition will be held on October 24th from 10 am - 5 pm. Once you finish your drawing, take a picture of it and post it on social media using the hashtag #wayStoutWest and you can also tag bdpstout in the post. Judging will take place at 5pm on October 23rd, and the winning design will get featured on BDP and campus social media.
The UW-Stout Philosophy Club is hosting the first campus-wide debate in which two groups of 3 students come together to challenge ideas, sharpen their reasoning, and explore different perspectives. All students are welcome to attend.
Students will give prepared arguments in favor or against the existence of God, and will deliver those arguments in a moderated, set time format, leaving room for a Q&A section at the end.
Come watch and cheer on your fellow students and staff members as they battle it out on stage for best lip sync-er on campus!
