Financial Tip Of The Day

Do you know how much you’ve borrowed in federal student loans via the FAFSA?

If not, you can find out by going to studentaid.gov, logging, go to the top right corner and hover over your name, and select dashboard.  It is important to manage your debt. Also, keep in mind that a dependent undergraduate student can borrow a limit of $31,000 and an independent undergraduate student can borrow up to $57,500 in federal student loans.

April is Financial Wellness Month, so the UW-Stout Financial Wellness and Literacy Center is offering a financial tip every weekday during April! 🎉If you would like to discuss any of these tips or any other financial topic, you are welcome to make a virtual or in-person appointment. Schedule an appointment here!
