Join us as we celebrate our student leaders from across campus for the annual UW-Stout Leadership Awards. We'll be honoring nominees and recipients for a variety of awards, and winners will be announced the evening of the event.
Research Day is a free annual celebration of the research, creativity, and innovation of students, faculty, and staff at UW-Stout. It offers a venue for those in all fields to share the results of their ground-breaking research, scholarly or artistic projects with the public and their peers. Through posters, exhibits, art or design displays, and oral presentations, students, faculty, and staff share what they've learned, created, and innovated with business, industry and community partners.
11:00–1:00: Attend Quick Pitch, a fast-paced student competition to describe research in 3 minutes or less.
1:00–2:30: Listen to collaborative oral presentations in this new event, Innovative Insights - Faculty and Student Research Showcase.
2:30-2:45: Watch “The Making and Sneak Peek of Jilly and Juno, a Mixed Media Animated Short Film” and engage with its creative student team.
3:00–5:00: From informative research posters to engaging engineering exhibits to multimedia displays, check out the 150 Posters and Exhibits in the Great Hall, Ballrooms and Skylight Lounge.
5:15-6:00: Celebrate student and faculty outstanding researchers and Research Day competition winners at the closing Award Ceremony.
