Please join the Involvement Center and UW-Stout's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for a chalking event like none before. Learn about land stewardship and sustainability from the Ho-Chunk Nation's Bear Clan, learn about efforts to build, maintain, and grow the language and history of the Menomonee Nation with Menomoni yoU, and engage with the St. Croix Ojibwe's Trails Youth Dance Troupe to learn about the importance of cultural ceremony and performance.
This event isn't just a land acknowledgement, it's a living land acknowledgement and the next step in UW-Stout being a more inclusive, intentional campus.

Our Headliner Band for the night Tyte Phitt is an exciting,High-energy dance band that has collectively been together for 10+ years. They cover genres of Funk,R&B,Soul,POP,Dance and Classic Rock hits. They will be performing from 9pm-10pm.
Our opener Tyler Herwig who will be performing from 8pm-9pm is an acoustic pop/singer-songwriter from St Paul MN who performs Top 40’s covers from the last 50 years to his own Top 40’s style original music.
UW Sustainability Summit Call for Student Poster Proposals by Oct 1
The University of Wisconsin Sustainability Annual Meeting will be held here at Stout from Thursday, October 24 through Friday, October 25. An Eco-Innovation Showcase on Friday invites students to share sustainability-related formal research, informal class projects, club projects, community projects, etc. Learn more here and submit a proposal by Tuesday, October 1.

McNair Scholars Program Applications Open
Interested in graduate school? The McNair Scholars Program is a support system for undergraduate students preparing for graduate school. Benefits include a $2,800 stipend, travel funds to graduate schools and conferences, free graduate school applications, and assistance with research and applying to graduate schools.
