Learn how easy and fun it is to ride the community bus. Join us for an informative, one-hour ride on the Dunn County Transit Community Route on Thursday, Sept. 8th, from 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm. We will meet at the bus stop in front of Heritage Hall (Stout Library Bus Stop) to start our ride. The bus leaves promptly at 3:00 pm.

Heritage Hall Renovation- Student Feedback

Members of River Architects and SmithGroup will be on campus for an informal presentation to students about the Heritage Hall renovation project. This time is set up to provide students with direct interaction and discussion about the project. Students will be able to learn about the project, the current state of design, and ask questions. Presenters will collect feedback on how this renovation can best serve students, help support student success, and remain student focused.

Blue Devil Productions is proud to present Disney's Lightyear. Join us on the South Lawn (The lawn beside the Memorial Student Center and in front of the Applied Arts Building) for a FREE Movie! The Movie will begin at 9 pm following the sunset. Be sure to bring lawn chairs, pillows, blankets, and snacks. (Rainsite to be held at APPA 210)

From Disney and Pixar comes an animated sci-fi action-adventure — the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear (voice of Chris Evans), the hero who inspired the toy. “Lightyear” follows the legendary space ranger on an intergalactic adventure alongside ambitious recruits, Izzy, Mo, and Darby, and his robot companion Sox. Students interested in conducting research have an opportunity to apply for a research grant (≤$2,500) by September 15. Students who finished research and want to present at a conference or publish results can apply for a dissemination grant (≤$1,500) by the same date. FIRE ALARM PROCEDURES

In the event of a fire alarm sounding or a fire in a building, call 911 immediately. Signs of a fire include visible flames, smoke and odor of smoke. Someone must report the fire alarm via telephone because the building alarms are not connected to the city fire department. Individuals should not assume someone else is making the call. They should make the call. Refer to this link for more information.
