We're trying this again! Sally Ann Hall is coming to UW Stout, this time for real! Inspired by the fiery volcanoes of Alaska and the swampy potato marshes of Idaho from which she hails, Sally Ann Hall has a comedic style that combines wit and charm with childlike bladder control. She is the winner of both the 2018 Laughing Devil Comedy Festival and the 2017 She Devil Comedy Festival in New York City, where she is based. She’s also performed at the 2018 Women in Comedy Festival, NC Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta and is a regular performer at Comic Strip Live, LOL Comedy Club, The Stand, New York Comedy Club, Greenwich Comedy Club, Eastville, and Gotham.

Jamie Jacobsen, a 23 year-old native from Chicago’s south side, is as gritty & stubborn as her roots would suggest, and her thoughtful blend of commercial-ready, groove-oriented, indie-alt pop reflects an existential mind who’s not used to thinking inside boxes. But her tendency to keep a tongue-in-cheek songwriting approach keeps her every bit relatable.
