December 3rd is International Day of Persons with Disabilities, so come on by the MSC Involvement Porch to make a button to show your support! You can use our designs or make your own.
While you're there, grab some literature from Disability Services and learn more about how to find support for yourself or for others.
There have been increasing calls in recent years to remove Confederate and other purportedly racist monuments. Is this something we should be doing as a society?
Join us for a civil and informative philosophical debate on the topic. Dr. Travis Timmerman (Seton Hall University) will defend the view that we should remove these monuments. Dr. Daniel Demetriou (University of Minnesota, Morris) will defend the view that we shouldn't. The debate will be held virtually.
Join us for the final Open Mic Night of the semester and share your talents on the grand stage in the Great Hall.
Sign-up begins at 7:00 pm with the actual show starting at 8. If performing isn't for you, come support your peers while enjoying some free entertainment. Any and all talents or oddities are welcome! We will go until we run out of acts or until 10:00 pm, whichever comes first!
When signing up to perform, know that it is first come, first serve. Come early to sign up.
