Wisconsin voters will elect a new Supreme Court Justice on April 7, 2026, for a 10-year term. Two candidates have announced they are running for election: Chris Taylor, Judge of the Court of Appeals, District IV – Madison; and Maria Lazar, Judge of the Court of Appeals, District II – Waukesha. If any further candidates announce, they will be invited to interview as well.

Come to this info session to have all your questions answered about student research grants, from what you can use a grant for to how to write a strong proposal and how to fill out your budget sheet. The deadline for students to apply for a research grant (up to $2,500) or dissemination grant (up to $1,500) through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is Monday, February 16, 11:59 pm. The next deadline will be Friday, May 15.

Our Caucus starts at 6:30pm with our full Senate Meeting starting at 7:00pm.
The University Student Senate is the legislative body of the Stout Student Association and meets weekly to discuss university policy and shared governance, allocate fees, promote new initiatives in support of the students, and hear from campus leaders.
