Have you ever wanted to design your own PCB? We will be teaching you how to design your own PCB board and how to order them to be fabricated. No need to install any software, just bring your own laptop.
This 4-part workshop walks you through the design process of creating your very own electrical circuit! Part 1 will have you map out the project using a breadboard for an overview understanding of how each component needs to be connected correctly. Part 2 will teach you how to code your design using Arduino IDE. Part 3 will teach you how to design your own PCB based off of what you made on your breadboard and how to order them to be fabricated. Finally, Part 4 will have you solder components onto the ordered PCBs to complete the device. Hope to see you there!
On Saturday, October 21st, Learning and Information Technology (LIT) will be working to implement network changes from 5:00 am – 7:00 am. During this time there is the possibility of sporadic internet outages where UW-Stout network resources may be inaccessible from off campus and Internet resources may be unavailable from on campus. We do not anticipate long outages during this time. If you experience any issues after this outage, please contact the Technology Help Desk.
