In the VCR Party, comedians Joe Pickett (The Onion) and Nick Prueher (Late Show with David Letterman) present a hilarious guided tour through their unbelievable VHS collection. As featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, America’s Got Talent, Tosh.0, TruTV, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Joe and Nick resurrect these forgotten video treasures and serve them up in the funniest, most jaw-dropping show on the college circuit. VCR Party was founded in New York City in 2004 and has gone on to sell out hundreds of shows around the world, including the HBO Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs and Bonnaroo.
This 3-part workshop walks you through the design process of creating your very own electrical circuit! Part 1 will have you map out the project using a breadboard for an overview understanding of how each component needs to be connected correctly.
Part 2 will teach you how to design your own PCB based off of what you made on your breadboard and how to order them to be fabricated.
Finally, Part 3 will have you solder components onto the ordered PCBs to complete the device.
For each part of this workshop, be sure to bring your Arduino Uno from ETECH-100 and your laptop with the Arduino IDE installed. Be sure to register for each event prior to the night that they are hosted as there is a limit of 30 attendees due to supplies and materials.
On the first Wednesday of each month, we will highlight a topic that you may encounter as you continue "Adulting"!
