Throughout the pandemic the campus was challenged with adapting to a virtual environment, new technology emerged, processes were simplified and in some cases, automation was created. One such case is the bell toll, a system that was once manual, has now become automated. Previously, any special bell tolls for funerals, celebrations and memorials were manually rung from the Dean of Students Office.
With the pandemic this process was automated to allow for pre-scheduling of tolls. This will allow the celebration peal to be played on Saturday, December 18th at 12:05 PM in celebration of our graduating class.
The 5 bell peal will play for one minute, starting at 12:05 PM and ending at 12:06 PM. Graduates, faculty, staff, students and guests are invited to stand in the clock tower plaza or throughout campus to listen to this special sound.
