Service Club at Stout will be in Menomonie neighborhoods trick or treating for canned goods and other non-perishibles! Pamphlets will be sent out so houses can prepare ahead of time. Donated food will be given to Stepping Stones. Normal neighborhood trick or treating will be taking place from 5pm-7pm.
If you are attending, please dress up in an appropriate and fun costume!
Come and join us in the Terrace for Jack Box Games! We will play a variety of games of your choosing. Either come with a group or make some new friends! FREE prizes will go to the winner of each round.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. This informational tabling event will provide you with information and resources to raise awareness of and combat domestic violence both in your personal sphere and within society as a whole.

Come share your talents on the stage or show your halloween costume! Sign up begins at 7:00pm with the actual show starting at 8. This Open Mic is going to double as a halloween celebration! Come tell spooky stories or share how you created your costume. If performing isn't for you, come support your peers while they pour their hearts and souls out to put on a show. Any and all talents or oddities are welcome! We will go until we run out of acts or until 10:00pm, whichever comes first!
Event is first come, first serve up in the MSC Terrace.
Join Eric Kasper (UW-Eau Claire), Adam Kunz (UW-Eau Claire), Tim Shiell (UW-Stout), and Jim Szymalak (UW-La Crosse) for a day of discussions around the history of expressive rights and free speech justifications!
Students who complete the workshop will receive a $250 stipend - and students traveling from outside of Eau Claire are eligible for an additional $150 travel stipend! Breakfast provided!
Deadline to apply is October 21st, 2022, but only 24 students will be accepted, so don't wait to apply!

Do you want to win prizes and bragging rights for your student org? The University Library, in collaboration with the Involvement Center, is hosting the ninth annual Halloween Window Decorating Contest. This is a great way to promote your student organization to the campus community and maybe even add some new members!
Painting will take place between now and October 29th. Then, on October 31st, judges will award prizes like a pizza party or vinyl banner to the windows voted “Best Decorated Window,” “Spookiest Theme,” and “Best Org Spirit.” We provide the paint and brushes – you just bring the creativity! Email Librarian Tanya Gunkel to sign up for a window no later than Monday, October 24th and she will send details liof the size of the window, painting details, etc.
