Kim Uetz Wins Library Barnard Award

The Barnard Outstanding Service Award recognizes a library staff member who exemplifies collaborative initiatives with the larger Stout community, engages in leading-edge efforts, enhances library services/resources, and exemplifies outstanding customer service efforts. The recipient is chosen based on nomination statements submitted on the library staff member’s behalf by members of the Stout community.  Statements on Kim’s behalf recognized her “as one of the library’s few ‘essential workers’ throughout the early days of the pandemic” and multiple nominations mentioned her innovative work on the “E”ffordability Conference.

Kim always has the students’ best interests in mind, she creates strong relationships and provides the best service possible. She truly exemplifies the standards of excellence defined by this award.

Information regarding these candidates and their interview schedules will be provided on the search site as it is available. The VCESI will provide strategic direction for enrollment and retention services. The VCESI supervises the following areas:  Admissions, Advisement Center, Financial Aid, Registration and Records, Stout Online, Continuing Education, and Professional Education.
