Film Synopsis: A less-than-threatening supervillain known as Megamind finally manages to bring Metro City to its knees and defeat his archrival, the superhero Metro Man, but must soon deal with a more-sinister evildoer.

This highly anticipated event highlights innovative collections that reflect months of research, craftsmanship, and personal storytelling, bringing each designer’s unique vision to life. From concept to final garment, the show captures the culmination of academic dedication and artistic exploration, while also providing associate designers the opportunity to contribute fresh perspectives and collaborative energy. Blending professionalism with creativity, the fashion show serves as both a platform for rising talent and a celebration of the next generation of industry leaders.

Research Day events on May 5
You're invited to Research Day! First is WiSys Quick Pitch 11am- 1pm. Faculty-student oral presentations will share innovative research at Stout 1-2:30pm. Water research, Unspooled film presentations, NCUR and Research in the Rotunda student work, CVTC student presentations, and high school FIRST Robotics Competition teams will be highlighted in Posters and Exhibits 3-5pm. Finally, the Awards Ceremony for Stout Outstanding Researchers 5:15-6pm will finish the day. Refreshments available throughout.
