About the Program

The Cybersecurity Talent Initiative is the first-of-its-kind public-private partnership aimed at recruiting and training a world-class cybersecurity workforce. The program is a selective opportunity for students in cybersecurity-related fields to gain vital work experience and even receive up to $75,000 in student loan assistance.

The fellowship entails a two-year placement within a federal agency during which participants will receive mentorship, professional development and leadership training from public and private cybersecurity leaders, while making a meaningful impact on the country’s digital security. A full list of participating agencies can be found on our website at

Before the end of their federal service, participants will be invited to apply for in-demand positions with the program’s corporate partners which include Microsoft, Mastercard and Workday. Participants hired by these companies will receive the student loan assistance.
