The Student Advisory Committee provides a leadership position for students where they can provide prospective, input and advice for the Career Services office on student needs.
- Have a voice in the creation of career-related programs and materials.
- Gain a resume-building leadership position.
- Listed as a Committee member on the Career Services website.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in one scheduled two-hour meeting each semester
- Complete one volunteer shift at both Fall and Spring Career Conferences
- Promote Career Services events and resources to peers & classes.
- Students may be offered other opportunities throughout the year, which are not requirements.
Types of students we are seeking:
- Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
- An interest in contributing to Career Services. Experience with Career Services is not required.
- Students from a wide range of programs and experiences.
- Able to serve for the full academic year (Fall 2020-Spring 2021)
Timeline:
- Deadline to apply: September 10th
- Selected students will be contacted by: September 11th
- Fall Meeting: TBD September 2020
- Spring Meeting: February 2021
