Government & Nonprofit Career Fair

It’s career fair season! Now is the time to connect with employers and build relationships. If you’re interested in working for a government or nonprofit agency, read on. 

UW-Stout Polytechnic is participating in the 2026 Government & Nonprofit Career Fair at the University of Minnesota – Friday, October 23rd. Employers in attendance are looking to hire interns and professional positions. This career fair is only open to students and alumni from participating colleges and universities. To attend the fair, you must register with UW-Stout Polytechnic Career Services.

The best part? UW-Stout Polytechnic is providing free transportation! Take a nap, do some homework, or chat with a friend – ride the bus.  Register for this event and complete the bus ride sign-up here.

Bus information 

• 9:30am - Meet on north side of Memorial Student Center (across from library), 10th Ave E.
• 9:45am - Depart for Coffman Memorial Union, University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus, 300 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
• 11:00am - 1:30pm - UW-Stout Polytechnic students attend Government & Nonprofit Career Fair
• 1:30 pm - All students report to bus for trip back to UW-Stout Polytechnic
• 1:45pm - Depart for UW-Stout Polytechnic, Menomonie, WI
• 3:00pm - Arrive back at UW-Stout Polytechnic Memorial Student Center
