Details

First-Year Wilderness Experience. FWE is an adventure-based program designed specifically for first-year students. It is a great way to meet likeminded folks before starting your first semester at UW-Stout.

This year, we'll spend time exploring the Menomonie area with campus as our home base as well as heading off to the Turtle-Flambeau flowage to spend a couple days camping and canoeing. Activities will include the following and more.

- Outdoor Challenge Course

- Indoor Climbing Wall

- Camping

- Canoeing

- Kayaking

- Paddle Boarding

- Hiking

Cost: $450.00

The trip includes 2 trip leaders, transportation, lodging, meals, and all necessary equipment.

**No prior experience necessary. All skill levels welcome. Space is limited. Registration opens June 1st, 2023.
