Mission
Stout Typographical Society aids in the promotion of cooperation between students, educators, and the printing, publishing, and packaging industries. We encourage a well-rounded background of study in the humanities, sciences, and graphic communications. We also encourage work under professional guidance of the staff and faculty of the Graphic Communications program and we offer an opportunity for leadership training.

Membership Benefits
Members who join STS learn about how to work in an industry standard environment. As a bonus for being a part of STS every second semester we take a 3 day business trip that allows members to tour 10-12 different companies and market themselves to employers. Many of our members have walked away from this experience with internships.
