Mission
The purpose of Students UNITE is to promote equality and work for justice through nonviolent direct action. Students UNITE is a civil rights and advocacy organization comprised of dedicated students that take action to protect and preserve the liberties, rights, and dignity of all people. The acronym UNITE stands for United Nonviolent Initiative Towards Equality, which indicates that students will achieve their goals through a nonviolent, united means. This organization will network with other Students UNITE chapters nationwide, organizations on campus, and other social justice off-campus organizations. Collaborating with others on and off campus will allow students to build their organizations up towards successful campaigns.
