-Next week's meeting on the 8th will be the last SSU meeting of the semester.
-Political candidate Rebecca Cooke will be at next week's meeting!
-Next week's meeting on the 8th will be extra credit for all APSS students, so we may need to relocate to a bigger room. This will be updated when we have a finalized location.
-Garrett's birthday is also on the next meeting day!
-We discussed book and show reccommendations for the break and came up with movies and shows such as "School of Chocolate," "The King's Affection," "Futurama," and "Our Planet." We also came up with books such as "Emma" by Jane Austen and the "Tao Te Ching" by Laozi.
-We discussed future SSU plans like the bike program, a candidate forum, and the sexual assault awareness event in April. We also talked about getting groups like Students for Consent, Bridge to Hope, and FLIGHT Club involved in the sexual assault awareness event.
-We talked about doing more permanent things for the sexual assault awareness event, like creating a rideshare program and getting more streetlights so students can feel safer going home in the dark.
-There will be a trans rights meeting with the Chancellor on Friday.
