The Arc of Dunn County provides the following community services for children and adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities: daily living skills training, supportive homecare and in-home respite care. Activities of daily living skills training include, but are not limited to, housekeeping, laundry, self-advocacy, and fitness. Supportive home care provides support to eligible individuals with disabilities who reside in in unsupervised living environments. Services are based on needs and provided one-on-one. In-Home Respite Care provides temporary care for clients to support caregivers and families and provides a wide array of activities for our participating clients based on their needs.

The Arc of Dunn County- Guardianship Program

The Arc of Dunn County provides guardianship of the person or estate and is viewed as a responsibility to make critical decisions for a person who has been judicially verified to be incapable of making his or her own decisions. The guardian ship program will make sure each ward is protected from exploitation or abuse by others, and advocate for services of each ward.

The Arc of Dunn County- Residential Services

(715) 235-7373The Residential Services Program is designed to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities with a focus on modeling and teaching independent living skills based on each persons need and skill level. Some residential services offered are room, board, transportation, training and assistance, as well as arrangements with medical care, dental care, counseling services and more.

Stepping Stones-Community Connections Program

Supportive Services provided by community volunteers that include: light housekeeping, meal preparation, yard- work, small fix-it repairs, shopping, and transportation. The Community Connections Program also provides assistance to people in emergency financial need when funding is available, as well as referrals to other community services.

Center for Independent Living- Independent Living Skills Training

Independent Living Skills Training provides assistance in assessing and developing the skills individuals need in order to live independently. Skill areas may include communication, financial management, household management, accessing community services, problem-solving and identifying, and using adaptive/non-adaptive equipment.

Youth service is a service that develops skills specifically designed for youth with disabilities between the ages of 14 and 24 to promote self-awareness and esteem, develop empowerment skills and to explore career options, including postsecondary education
