The SSS and Fostering Success offices will be closed until further notice and all staff will be working remotely. This decision has been made following guidance from Chancellor Frank’s update: “Due to the increase of COVID-19 transmission and in order to prioritize the health and safety of our campus community, we will be moving to limited on-campus operations effective March 17, 2020, until further notice, and therefore limiting the number of employees who will remain on campus.”
Therefore, until further notice, all appointments and communication will move to an online format. Scheduling will still be through Microsoft Teams. You can scroll to the top or bottom of this page to find links to both Bookings pages. You can also click here for Advising or click here for Tutoring. Check the Newsletter Section if you would like more information.
The student emergency fund website is live for student use.
Students will need to have exhausted other resources in order to be awarded funds. There is a maximum of $500 that can be awarded. And funds are limited in availability.
If you have experienced any bias or discrimination, you are encouraged to complete a bias incident report: https://www.uwstout.edu/life-stout/student-services/dean-students/bias-incident-reporting. Such instances will be recorded, and the Dean of Students will evaluate and contact you if provided to address your concerns.
For students without internet access off-campus, there will be a limited number of Hotspots available for checkout. If you complete the Mobile Hotspot Request, you will be asked to use your Stout credentials to log in and validate who you are. Completing the form does not guarantee you a hotspot.
