Join the Student Technology Committee and IT Leadership for our listing session in front of the Involvement Center (MSC).
Help us identify possible technology gaps in student services. You will contribute to a valuable student-led equipment/software purchasing organization. You have already assisted in implementing student printers, reusable notebooks, and parking lot WIFI upgrades.
The Student Technology Committee is the standing committee of the University Student Senate tasked with collaborating with the Chief Information Officer to provide recommendations to the University Student Senate and the Chancellor on how to allocate the Student Technology Fee, a 2.5% tuition surcharge. In addition to managing the allocation of the Student Technology Fee, the Student Technology Committee also promotes access to technology and technological innovation at the UW-Stout campus and promotes sensible policies that address privacy and security concerns for the university.
