During your time here at Stout, there are a few tools we want you to have in your tool belt. The apps below are part of our Student Success App Suite. Please download the apps onto your mobile device or bookmark the websites on your computer for future use.
You'll use Canvas for any online components of your classes at UW-Stout. For FYRO, we're using it for learning modules that explain how to register for your courses. You will need to login with your Stout credentials.
Microsoft Teams is a cloud-based team collaboration software that is part of the Office 365 suite of applications. Some of the functions of Microsoft Teams include messaging, calling, video meetings and file sharing. You will gain access using your Stout credentials after enrollment.
Navigate is a UW-Stout resource that helps students plan their academic success. With just a few clicks, students see their class schedules, advisor information, and can explore academic majors. Plus, friendly reminders and assistance with tuition due dates, registration, holds, etc. It's a go-to app to help navigate academic life at UW-Stout. You will gain access using your Stout credentials after enrollment.
Download the UW-Stout CONNECT app to get involved across campus. Search and join student organizations, browse and RSVP to upcoming events, find volunteer opportunities, set reminders, read and share news, and network with other students. UW-Stout credentials are required to login.
Blackboard collaborate is a live discussion platform. We will be using this for our Help Desk during registration.
