Mission
Week One Orientation strives to give each and every new student a positive experience in their transition to UW-Stout. Through our activities, programs, and events, we hope that new students will feel more connected to campus and gain the knowledge and tools that will help them to be successful students and engaged members of our campus community.

Membership Benefits
At the completion of Week One Orientation students will:
Feel more prepared for the start of classes,
Have less stress and anxiety about starting college,
Feel welcome at UW-Stout,
Have made personal connections with other new students, faculty, and staff,
Have the tools to manage their academics and time,
Have had the opportunity to interact with people who are different from them,
Be prepared to be involved in campus organizations,
Are aware of campus policies,
Make wiser choices about alcohol use,
Be aware of sexual assault laws, policies, and resources,
Be aware of the resources and service available to me to be a successful student.
