Details

We'll be working on firebreak clearing and brush burning next Saturday (10/3) at Dobbs landing from 1-4. We need to clear a somewhat existing path of downed logs and brush in order to mow it so it's ready for a prescribed burn in the area in the spring. We'll be dragging and piling brush and burning it so I'd suggest bringing sufficient liquid refreshment and a pair of sturdy work gloves if you have them. We'll bring my bucket of work gloves with so we'll have some spares.

Meet at the Dobbs parking lot at 1 and hopefully we can get everything done in a few hours. If we're making good time and we have enough people, I'd like to try to get some of the existing roads and fire breaks mapped but we'll see how things go.

Hope to see you there, we'll be having another work day to focus on fire breaks in another part of the site on October 10 as well.
