DESCRIPTION:Monday Meet Ups are a series of collaborative, various themed evening events that allow you to get to know other Blue Devils and take some time to refresh and learn more about you. This week's Monday Meet Up is all about Poetry to commemorate National Poetry Month! This event was helped put together with the English and Philosophy Department and the Literature Committee to allow us to bring in Karen Loeb,  Professor Emerita UW Eau Claire, and Eau Claire Writer in Residence from 2018-2020. UW Stout's creative writing professor Daniel Ruefman will lead a mini-workshop following Karen's reading. You can also learn about some types of poetry and techniques and also allow you to submit and share some of your own work!
