The Forgotten Realms have been gripped by a curse, and no man can escape its fate. Those who are dead are fated to stay that way, and those revived by clerical magics are withering and rotting away. The source of this Death Curse has been unknown since its discovery, as wizards and clerics alike search and pray for an answer.
One adventurer, Syndra Silvane, has sent each of you a well-written letter with one purpose: to invite you to her manor and set you on the path to dismantling this horrid curse forever. You will delve deep into the ancient nigh-uncharted jungles of Chult, discern the ways of the Chultans in the port city of Nyanzaru (and maybe join the dinosaur races), explore hidden cities, unearth ancient ruins, discover long-dead gods, and learn just how far the thirst for knowledge can take someone.
REQUIREMENTS: I am looking for 4 players of medium/intermediate knowledge of the game. This campaign has a good mix of combat, story, and exploration, and I will be expecting characters to get along and work together in the long run. Lone wolves, edgelords and murderhobos will not be accepted. I also expect players to be invested in learning about their surroundings, exploring, and talking to NPCs. My greatest hope is seeing characters bond and grow over the course of the story and make a name for themselves as they journey across Chult together!
In addition, I will be using the Roll20 program for maps and combat tracking. Always bring your computer and a charger!
The planned session times are Tuesday nights from 7:00pm to however late we want to go. Hopefully 3 hours or more.
LIMITS: As stated above, murderhobos, edgelords, and especially joke characters will not be allowed. I am very firm on this. My campaigns are rooted in serious themes and topics, and while some jokes are fine, making your character ‘Thrumbo Fartbuckle’ will earn you a swift exit.
