Welcome to North Campus and JTC Hall! Located across the bridge from North Point Dining and Fitness center, we are conveniently located near these great facilities. Residents in JTC have the luxury of co-ed-by-room floors and single gender floors, the most versatile living environments on campus. For study spaces outside the building, we're down the road from the Menomonie Public Library and downtown coffee shops. The bus pick-up also provides convenient access to the Main Campus.

Welcome to Red Cedar! This suite-style hall is home to residents who choose to live on-campus. Each temperature-controlled suite includes 3-4 bedrooms, a shared bathroom, living space, and kitchenette. Residents also utilize a full kitchen, lounge, and laundry on each floor, to study, cook, and socialize. The Office of International Education is to facilitate internationalization efforts on and off campus to prepare students for the global workforce and society. The Education Abroad Team works to advance education abroad opportunities that encompass experiential, innovative, and career-focused learning and to advocate for initiatives that foster intercultural and global competencies for the UW-Stout community.

Study abroad encompasses a variety of experiences including study, internships, co-ops, research, faculty-led, National Student Exchange and service learning programs. Study abroad opportunities are available for all students. The various types of study abroad programs can be as short as two weeks or as long as an academic year. Students can choose from nearly 300 locations and more than 40+ countries.

The UW-Stout theatre, band and choir welcome you to explore the performing arts on our campus. These groups provide a creative outlet to students that have enjoyed and developed skills as performers and wish to further refine and explore their artistic talents. Participation in music and theatre teaches expression beyond the written and spoken word, connects to a tradition of cultural awareness and explores creative new works of art. The performing arts investigate our expressions of humanity, unite multiple subject areas and draw people together, allowing them to relate in meaningful and enduring ways.

The Writing Center offers free help to UW-Stout students with writing assignments for any class. Writers at all skill levels are welcome!

Each visit to the Center is confidential and will address students' individual concerns or needs. Consultants won't edit or proofread student papers. Rather, consultants will work with students to develop skills, strategies, and confidence to improve their writing.

We provide education and outreach to the student body on UW-Stout's campus on a variety of topics related to physical and mental health.

We offer six programs we can present to your group. These six programs are as follows:

Master Bartender:
What does it take to be a 'master bartender?" This program takes a fun and competitive approach to learn healthy habits when it comes to drinking. Students will compete against each other to pour the most accurate drink. The team that pours most accurate will receive a prize.

Test Anxiety Jeopardy:
Have stressed, anxious students? Learn about different coping methods through an interactive and educational game of Jeopardy with the Wellness PROs! The team with the most points at the end of the game will win a prize!

Healthy Relationships:
There are several different kinds of relationships, not just romantic. How many of yours are healthy? What are the signs of an unhealthy relationship? During this event, students are provided with the necessary tools and resources to evaluate their relationships and work to building healthier ones.

Milk, Cookies, and Condoms
Learn about birth control – all options discussed here! We will discuss how to obtain birth control services on campus. The team will also share information about sexual health including information about health screening, STI's, and condom use. Questions encouraged!

Time Management:
We are all given the same number of seconds, minutes and hours in each day. Why does it seem like some people have more than us? The secret is how we are managing our time! Learn effective skills to spark positive changes with time management.

R.E.L.A.X: Recognize - Exercise - Letting Go - Attitude - Extra Sleep:
Just had a stressful class? About to go study for an exam? Feeling a little stressed? Learn about how to care for yourself! Good sleep is important for overall brain function, stress management, healthy living, and mood. A variety of ideas will be presented to add to your self-care toolbox.
