The purpose of the ASL Club is to promote the study of American Sign Language and the appreciation and understanding of Deaf culture by organizing educational and cultural activities open to all interested members of the University and the local community. ASL Club is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive environment where differences of opinions, beliefs, and values are sought, respected, and valued. ASL Club values deaf and hard of hearing Americans with diverse perspectives, experiences, and abilities while also embracing diversity and inclusiveness.

Students of the Criminal Justice, Rehabilitation and Vocational Rehabilitation majors will find this club a very helpful when selecting a degree or career path they want to pursue in. The Criminal Justice Student Association is an organization that is available for those who want to engage with the public and get more hands on experience with the law enforcement and rehabilitation profession. Our club will do lots of volunteer work throughout the community along with surrounding communities and also tour different facilities that work hand in hand with criminal justice and rehabilitation in the community.

NCFR mission is to provide an educational forum for family researchers, educators, and practitioners to share in the development and dissemination of knowledge about families and family relationships, establish professional standards, and work to promote family well-being.

We are a branch off of NCFR and follow their guild lines and by laws for our organization.
