Employers want new workers to be responsible, ethical, and team oriented, and to possess strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Wrap these skills up all together and you have what industry often views as "professionalism".

We will explore the evolution of professionalism and the nuances of business etiquette. Anthony Goettl, will teach you the tried and true best practices of professionalism. This should offer you the opportunity to identify and assess professionalism from not only your personal lens, but the lens of ever-changing industries and work forces. Understanding the blurred lines between traditional professionalism and preference may allow students and young professionals a more informed lens into their own misconceptions and biases, and foster an increasingly personalized viewpoint into the "real-world" decisions that await them.
