2020 First-Generation Celebration

Tune in on November 9th at 12 pm to listen to staff/faculty and your peers share their first-generation experiences.

There are a lot of barriers including psychological hurdles that first-generation students experience during their college journeys, and sometimes they don't realize they're not alone! The event is not only about recognizing some of the unique challenges of being the first in your family to attend college, it's about celebrating the successes and every milestone achieved.

About half of Stout students are first-generation students, so join in celebrating current and former trailblazers!
