About Us
The Office of International Education is to facilitate internationalization efforts on and off campus to prepare students for the global workforce and society. The Education Abroad Team works to advance education abroad opportunities that encompass experiential, innovative, and career-focused learning and to advocate for initiatives that foster intercultural and global competencies for the UW-Stout community. Study abroad encompasses a variety of experiences including study, internships, co-ops, research, faculty-led, National Student Exchange and service learning programs. Study abroad opportunities are available for all students. The various types of study abroad programs can be as short as two weeks or as long as an academic year. Students can choose from nearly 300 locations and more than 40+ countries.
